The deadline to apply for the Inclusive Leadership Programme is approaching!
At LEAD Network, our vision is clear: we aim to create a diverse and equitable workforce in the European Consumer Goods and Retail Industry where everyone can contribute and grow. We recognise that achieving this vision requires intentional action, commitment, and the right skills. The Inclusive Leadership Programme was designed to play an important role in bringing this vision to life. The programme equips leaders with the tools and insights they need to foster an inclusive culture.
Read on to find out more about how the programme bridges the gap between our aspirations for inclusivity and the realities of leadership – and find out how you can join the programme this year.
Why should you join the Inclusive Leadership Programme?
The Inclusive Leadership Programme addresses the critical need for inclusivity at the leadership level. It serves as a transformative experience that goes beyond theoretical discussions and dives into the real-world application of inclusive leadership principles. Leaders who join the programme have the opportunity to share their experiences, confront challenges, and learn from peers. The goal is to create a space where leaders feel empowered to support their teams better, building an inclusive culture where every team member is valued, feels a sense of belonging, and is encouraged to contribute.
Through the programme, participants will develop the skills to drive inclusivity within their organisations and beyond. The journey to inclusivity starts with self-awareness and extends to shaping organisational cultures where everyone can thrive.
Since its inception, the Inclusive Leadership Programme has welcomed 500+ participants across 5 cohorts, and facilitated 31 learning circles. These figures reflect the growing community of leaders dedicated to making a difference.
Who should join the Inclusive Leadership Programme?
The programme is exclusively available to mid-senior/ senior leaders employed by Partner companies who have the capacity to drive organisational culture change. The programme welcomes individuals of any gender, geography, or functional background who are passionate about diversity and inclusion (D&I). Those willing to invest at least six hours per month in the programme will find it particularly beneficial, as it enables them to deepen their understanding of inclusive leadership and apply these skills within their teams.
What is covered on the Inclusive Leadership Programme?
The programme emphasises four foundational traits:
- Cognisance of Bias – Understanding and managing unconscious bias in decision-making.
- Collaboration – Fostering teamwork and leveraging diverse perspectives to drive innovation.
- Curiosity – Encouraging a mindset open to learning and understanding different cultural and personal experiences.
- Courage – Taking bold actions to champion inclusivity, even when it is challenging.
The programme’s structure includes interactive webinars, self-study materials, and cross-company peer learning circles that encourage meaningful discussions and practical application of learnings. By participating, leaders gain the skills needed to implement inclusive policies and practices that foster an inclusive organisational culture.
Key learning outcomes include:
- Cultural Intelligence: Develop the ability to navigate and lead across different cultural contexts.
- Enhanced Communication and Collaboration: Learn how to foster an environment where open communication and teamwork thrive.
- Inclusive Decision-Making: Empower leaders to make well-informed decisions by considering diverse perspectives.
By the end of the programme, participants will be well-equipped to create and sustain inclusive practices that drive meaningful organisational change.
What do former participants say?
“The Inclusive Leadership Programme is an incredible experience that everyone should participate in. The sessions with the moderator were interactive, always allowing time for discussion and the exchange of experiences. It’s about more than just book knowledge: it’s about learning from each other’s experiences. I met fantastic people and broadened my worldview. Now, I feel more open, brave, and ready for new challenges.”
